Food is so so. Margaritas are a joke. I know they are a buck but I could of gotten a better rush from the sodas. And yes between two premium drinks and ( 7 )Dollar Margaritas I've should of been good nope nothing. Better start putting in what the customer pays for
I would have given one star, but I like their food. The staff is usually never friendly. The wait time on food varies. On one occasion, my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We waited at a table for 15-20 minutes and no one came up to our table. The table we were at was located by the bar and a lot of the staff walked by our table and eyed us. We had menus and kept looking around, waiting for one of the staff to stop by. That never happened so we left. We were disappointed and haven't been back to this location since.
Worst experience ever. We walked in and got seated at 2:03 pm. Server (lisa) came to get our drink orders 14 minutes later. Took ever longer to get our drink ( just water). When food was ready our server didn't even bring it to us. During the time we were eating we needed a refill of water. We waited a few minutes and our server still hasn't checked on us. We ask another server (crystal) for a refill. We over heard her telling other servers. Our server came back with our waters. Food was good but service was terrible. After we left, we totally forgot that we have left a retainer on the table. We immediately went back and asked to look for it. Host then brought manager over. He honestly shouldn't be in management. He didn't want to do anything. Mind you, as we were driving back up we saw a server cleaning the table. He said it's gone, there is nothing he could do. That it was probably in back dumpster. He has the most stupid blanks look on on his face. He then called the server over who cleaned it ( crystal) about it. She confirmed with us that she just cleaned it a minute ago. And she actually went back and brought it to my husband. She was amazing. She was the best and only employee that really did amazing. Overall, never going back again
I went here on a recent Saturday, to meet old friends that I hadn't seen in many years. The food was phenomenal, but the service very sub par. The hostesses who sat us were very friendly, and did their jobs well, however the waitress barely checked back with us. We were there for over three hours and she never, even once, refilled our drinks, and she only stopped back a couple of times, once to inquire if we wanted dessert. There was nothing regarding if our food was to our satisfaction, or if we needed water or another drink, or anything at all. Now I do understand that she was busy, on a Saturday afternoon. However I don't think there's any excuse for ignoring a table for so long. Yes, we did sit there longer than is probably acceptable, but we would have ordered more drinks if we had been offered, and we would have given a higher tip if she had shown any professionalism and caring to us. Now I do understand that perhaps she was just having a bad day, and that isn't Applebee's norm, or I hope. I do know I won't hurry back, for sure.
My favorite cozy, fun chain restaurant that serves alcohol. The menu is reasonably priced and has a good variety of interesting selections. Food is presented attractively and tasty! Applebee's is my reliable go-to place to meet friends, love it!
