Mike is one of the managers here and he is the definition of great customer service! The residential key I needed was high security key and besides one place in Bloomington, no one has them in stock unless they special ordered them. So I called a few days later, not that I would be the only person who needs this key, but he recognized that I may have been the lady who called last week and said you know what, I'm going to process an order for some right after I get off the phone for you. It was so nice of him to do, and he asked for my phone number and name and said specifically that they would be in by the end of the week. Two days later, I received a call saying they were in. Great service, and great guy!
This store authored the book on great service. They not only know where items are located, they also are extremely knowlegable on most all repairs on home projects. An outstanding place for great products and information.
Pour service on our power washer. I brought my power washer in and asked for Ace to change both oils, filter replace bad gas and replace missing bolts on one of the wheels. The person at the desk selectively left things off the work order that I asked for. When I picked up the power washer only one of the things I asked for had been done. Instead they THINK the carb was cleaned and the gas replaced. The hand writing on the work order was impossible to read under the work done section. I was taken for $90. Do not use this place for service.
Our visit to this store was a perfect 10, all of the employees were more then helpful they were thoughtful too. I came in thinking I may need to buy a drill to put hinges on a toy, which I wasn't comfortable doing for fear of destroying the toy. Paul put the hinges on perfectly and put the rest of the toy together. My niece and I left so happy
