The worst part is that you still had the gall to charge us $700+ even when we ended up doing the job we thought we'd be paying you to do.

The first time they showed us what we would owe for taxes between state and federal, it was north of 10K: a shocking number us since we'd been paying quarterly taxes all year and kept excellent records of everything. We asked them to take another look because it seemed wrong, but they didn't. So we went and found their mistake ourselves. Their mistake? They didn't even factor in our quarterly tax payments at all into the formula which obviously lead to the numbers being so off, a simple mistake but a huge one that could have cost us thousands of dollars.
